In addition to guiding women through the joys and challenges of pregnancy, he offers a variety of innovative treatment options to address issues that arise in women of all ages. He enjoys seeing patients back year after year and makes time in his schedule to welcome new patients into his practice.

Dr. McAdams was born and raised in Oklahoma City. He attended Baylor University where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in Chemistry. Upon graduation, he returned home to Oklahoma to attend medical school. He graduated with Outstanding Distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1995. He was accepted into the highly selective and competitive residency training program in OB/GYN at the University of North Carolina, where he learned from pioneers and innovators in the field of OB/GYN.

After completing residency, Dr. McAdams returned to Oklahoma and practiced in Midwest City for three years, where he completed his board certification in OB/GYN. He became one of the founding members of the Center for Women's Health in 2002. He has been growing his practice with the Center for Women's Health since that time.

Dr. McAdams and the other physicians at the Center For Women’s Health are independent physicians.  He has hospital affiliations with Mercy and Integris hospitals as well as outpatient surgery centers OCOM and Surgicare.  Being an independent physician instead of a hospital-employed physician allows Dr. McAdams to choose treatment options he feels best suited to the patient without the restrictions put in place by a hospital system.  He accepts most insurance products available in Oklahoma, including Medicaid/Soonercare and Medicare.

Dr. McAdams has been married since 1992 and enjoys spending time with his family, which includes two wonderful and talented children. He also enjoys exercising, playing golf and watching OU and Baylor athletics as well as following the Thunder.
